Today’s article is written by Suzannah Windsor Freeman, founding editor.
There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes here at Write It Sideways.
For some time now, I’ve been eager to bring this blog to the next level. I have a few exciting plans in place, which I hope to unveil in the coming months. One of those plans has been to recruit a whole panel of talented writers.
So, please give a warm welcome to our six regular contributors. You’ll already be familiar with two of them, who have been writing for us since January 2012, and others you may have seen as guest posters on Write It Sideways.
I know you’ll enjoy hearing from them as much as I’ll enjoy working with them.

Sarah Baughman is a writer and trained teacher who has published articles in print and online publications. Her collection of creative non-fiction essays won the Michigan Writers Cooperative Press 2010 Chapbook Contest. Check out her blog, A Line At A Time.

6. Lydia Sharp
Lydia Sharp is an author of YA, sci-fi & fantasy, and contemporary fiction. Her novella Twin Sense (a romantic comedy) will release from Musa Publishing’s Euterpe imprint in November, 2012. She is also a regular contributor at the award-winning blog Writer Unboxed.
Regular contributors to Write It Sideways are paid for their time, which is only made possible through money raised from advertisements and sales from my eBook, The Busy Mom’s Guide to Writing. Every dollar earned through those venues goes directly back to you—the writing community—by remunerating writers and covering hosting costs, technical support and design.
No doubt we will welcome other contributors to the blog in the future. If you think you have the passion and writing experience to join the team, please contact me with your details and a brief outline of your qualifications. I’ll keep you on file for opportunities that may arise down the line.
