Just a quick post today to tell you all a little bit about the two writers I’ve chosen to be regular contributors to Write It Sideways over the next six months, while I’m busy taking care of our twins-to-be.

Considering how wonderful all of the candidates have been, the decision has been exceptionally difficult. And I do mean exceptionally.

However, I’m glad to announce that between January and June 2012, Susan Bearman and Sarah Baughman will each be writing two articles per month for Write It Sideways.

Susan Bearman

Susan Bearman is a writing veteran of more than 20 years, working as a ghost writer, technical writer and business editor. She teaches writing and social media for writers, and her current works-in-progress include several picture books, a memoir and a mystery.  Follow her on Twitter, and read Susan on her own blog, Two Kinds of People, and weekly on the Garanimals Blog

Susan’s articles:

Sarah Baughman

And, I’d like to give an enormous thank you to the other candidates for their wonderful guest articles:

Sarah Callender

Sarah Callender is represented by Rebecca Oliver at William Morris Endeavor, and her novel is currently undergoing a round of revisions. She received a 2010 King County Arts Commission grant for an interdisciplinary art/poetry project in the Seattle Public Schools, and the first chapter of her novel, BETWEEN THE SUN AND THE ORANGES, received Honorable Mention in the 2010 Lorian Hemingway Short Story Competition. Sarah blogs regularly at Inside-Out Underpants. She lives with her husband and two children in Seattle where she is hard at work on her second novel.

Note: For personal reasons, Sarah Callender withdrew from the contributor search, but she’s looking forward to guest posting for us in the future.

Sarah’s articles:

Christi Craig

Christi Craig writes flash fiction and short stories, and is currently at work on her first novel. For more about Christi and her writing, visit her website. You can also follow her on Twitter or friend her on Facebook.

Mercia’s articles:

I’ve really enjoyed reading all of the articles these lovely writers have shared with us over the past couple of months, and the feedback they’ve received in the comments section has been amazing.

I hope you’ll continue to support each of these writers by visiting and subscribing to their blogs, and following them on Facebook or Twitter.

I look forward to seeing you in the New Year (in the meantime, you can enjoy some more guest posts on Write It Sideways).

Happy holidays, everyone!
