Author Jennie Nash is hosting a blog tour contest to promote her latest book, The Threadbare Heart, due to be released May 4, 2010.
Next week, Write It Sideways will be participating in Jennie’s Mother’s Day Contest, which you can enter by writing a mini-essay on your favourite fictional mother/daughter duo.

Writer Unboxed Contributor Finalists
Recently, Writer Unboxed–a blog written by several published novelists–disclosed that they were looking for an unpublished writer to become a regular contributor.

I was thrilled to be invited as one of four inaugural contributors to Zen Family Habits–sister site of well-known blogger Leo Babauta’s Zen Habits–which launched late last year.
